Festool Rotex RO150 FEQ

Solid Surface Bar produced using the Rotex
Solid Surface Fabrication
   Solid Surface Fabrication

Details from the fabricator: Solid Surfaces Northwest

'The bar is clad completely in LG HI-MACS solid surface. The structure of the bar is a 50mm steel box section frame, that was then clad entirely in V313 MDF a TS55 was used to cut the MDF panels, C12 and TDK 15.6 were used to fix the MDF to the box section I used the domino to join all of the seams and reduce movement.
The final step was to clad over the MDF using LG HI-MACS which has to be joined perfectly in order to get seamless joints, so the OF1400 with the guide rail attachment was the perfect tool for achieving straight joints. Once the bar was clad with the HI-MACS I finished the surface with the RO150 FEQ sander and the ETS150 sander.'
