Selecting the correct door handles

Choosing the correct door handles for you door is important as there are many things to think about.

The door handle should complement the colour of your door whether it is a natural wood finish or a painted finish. The size of handle is also very important, so checking the rail on your door to make sure you have enough room is crucial. If you require a mortice knob handle rather than a lever handle the latch will need to be further away to ensure that you do not hit your knuckles on the door frame.

Is the door handle going on a new door or replacing an existing door handle?

New Door: No need to worry about existing screw holes to cover.

Old Door: Are there any screw holes that will not be covered by the new door handles. Fill them before fixing but this needs to be done with a quality filler and well sanded.
